NYFW- Spring Summer 2015 beauty trends

Minimal. Fresh faced. luminous. Dewy. Contoured. Radiant. Athletic. Natural. Pretty.

Got that? Because this will be our make-up wish list come Spring if the sneak peeks from New York Fashion Week is anything to go by!

With only two days left of this seasons first round of runway madness, a trend is already emerging for softer looks for our sunny spring-summer days during 2015.

At Rag & Bone the talented Gucci Westman created a ‘no-make-up’ look, complete with subtle inner eye highlight and brushed up brows, whilst at Prabal Gurung artist Diane Kendal created a similar look, with the addition of subtle contouring. Both such wearable looks, which even those who fear a make-up brush can create.

Lover of a hint of colour? Don’t panic! Over at Alexander Wang, Diane Kendal worked her magic once more, adding metallic washes of colour over models eyelids, whilst at Derek Lam, make-up genius Tom Pecheux created a pretty, feminine look using mauve and lilac tones on models eyes.

Finally if you are a lover of a smokey eye, over at Diane Von Furstenberg my ultimate career hero Pat McGrath created a modern take on Bridget Bardot’s sensual look. Working mid browns into models eyelids, complete with smudged black liner and a creamy nude lip, this is the one look I image my clients here at So Coco Rouge will be dying for!

Next stop- London! I wonder what our capital will have in store for us?!
