Spring Summer 2015 Nail Trends

So if your anything like me, you’ll be all wrapped up in a trench coat, clutching at your leather gloves and cashmere scarf for extra warmth. Yes, Autumn has well and truly hit us, with its damp mornings, whirling winds and golden brown leaves.

Yet, here I am thinking of Spring Summer. And Spring Summer nails at that.

Yes, only last month the catwalk was oozing with next seasons trends, and those trends include our nails.

Over in New York the buzz word amongst the manicurist’s was ‘negative space’. Literally meaning, a matte, nude base with nail art applied on top. Nail art designs included half moons, dots and geometric prints.

Try starting your manicure with 2 coats of OPI Nail Lacquer in Salmon Sand before applying OPI Matte Top Coat. Then it’s time to add your nail art!

From Negative Space to Pretty Pearls- over at The Shrimps show, Maybelline’s nail artist Michelle Humphrey created my favourite manicure of the season.

Simple pearly polish finished with decorative pearls, this one will no doubt be popular with my 2015 brides!

Finally, it’s time for even more embellishment! Get out your nail glue and your craft box, it’s time to decorate your nails with diamonds, gems and even piercings.

What nail trend will you be trying next season?!
