Benefit They’re Real Eyeliner

Back in the sunny Summer, when my mind was focused on a trip around Europe and my feet were firmly dancing in the Glastonbury mud, I was desperate to try Benefits newest liner, They’re Real.

As a fan of the best selling They’re Real mascara and a devotee of a 50’s flick, I knew I’d be in for a treat when I finally got round to getting my hands on this beauty! It seems I’m not the only one, as it’s now the best selling liner in the UK!

So, you can imagine my joy when Elle magazine arrived with a thump through my letter box, and a trial sized They’re Real Eyeliner attached. Just in time for the cold snap and for my woolen cloche hats to come out of hibernation.

This liner is a UK first, a gel formula within a liner pen style. Plus, the soft nib is angled, making creating flicks an absolute doddle.

On first application, you need to twist the base to start the flow of liner, and I discarded any excess product onto the back of my hand. You can always dip the nib back into the excess liner if need be, so you don’t have much waste!

I applied my liner in the same way I apply gel liner with a brush, or my liquid liner pen- From the centre outwards to create the flick, then returning to the inner corner towards the centre.

But most importantly, did it stay put?! It did indeed!! This liner certainly lives up to its waterproof, smudgeproof and lifeproof status.

A definite buy for you hot yoga bunnies!

They’re Real Push Up Eyeliner is £18.50 and available in Boots and department stores.
