A weekend of Cornish sunshine, a tipi wedding and one beautiful bride

So a week of non-wedding speaking ended with the complete opposite. A wonderful weekend filled with family, love and good old Cornish cider!

My cousin Mark married beautiful Anna in pretty Polzeath, Cornwall, an area of the world I’d not visited before- but one I’m sure i’ll contiue to!

Our home for the weekend was Robin Cottage, and located literally a stones throw from the sea. Arriving at dusk was like landing slap bang in heaven on earth.

Robin cottage was also well positioned for Mesmear, the location of the big day itself! With beautiful barn cottages and picturesque fields, it’s an ideal location for a special family holiday as well as a pretty wedding spot.

Anna and Mark’s day was filled with lots of special touches- I absolutely adored their handmade centrepieces, favours and their personalised stationary. Everything was just perfect, and complimented their relaxed, festival vibe. I’d always loved the idea of attending a rustic tipi wedding- and I loved every single second of this one in particular!

Even their wedding cake had a personalised, family touch- with Mark’s mum and my mum making and decorating it! And I can tell you, it was delicous!
And to top it off, I was in charge of beautifying Anna and her ‘maids on the morning itself- which was such a massive privilege. There is nothing more special than being with someone on their final hours of a miss, and they are memories I will always treasure.

Outfit wise, I saw a peek of sunshine and decided that colour was in order! Teaming my favourite Lindy Bop ‘Audrey‘ dress with my Erst Wilder brooch, Skinny Dip London Clutch and new bow fascinator from Coast

You can see a whole host of the beautiful bride and groom by visiting the AMAZING Nick Walker Photography page on Intagram and Facebook– but here’s a taster of the happy couple.
