So I’ve been keeping a teeny weeny secret from you! Just over a month or so ago (in February 2019) when our son was still undergoing his hip dysplasia treatment, he featured in a very special Disney photoshoot! Join us behind the scenes- Primak and Dumbo collaboration.

Dressed in an oversized sleepsuit to cover his Pavlik harness he featured in a few different scenes over the course of a couple of hours, some for stills and others moving film.
I hope that as Primark start to make changes with adaptive dressing, hip dysplasia clothing will come next. But, during the shoot I worked with the styling team to choose an oversized sleepsuit which would fit correctly and ensure he leg position wasn’t altered at any time.

The crew from Yeti were incredible, looking after us both and making sure he was as happy as could be all the time. Which wasn’t an easy feat when those pesky teeth decided they wanted to be involved in the day too!

But anyway, we both loved the experience, and I feel very blessed to have these images and video to show him when he’s older!

But a huge hats off and round of applause must go to Yeti and Primark for casting children with additional needs, it’s a great step in the right direction. I’m so glad we were involved!
